Therapeutic Effects of Bromocriptine in Idiopathic Parkinsonism

Abstract
|
|
|
Therapeutic effects of bromocriptine were evaluated in 16 idiopathic Parkinsonism patients. 22.5mg of Bromocriptine was added to the conventional antiparkinsonian agents including L-Dopa, and clinical evaluation was performed according to the physical Examination Disability Scales.
It showed a significant improvement in score after Bromocriptine therapy, especially in walking, spemor and finger dexterity.
Bromoriptine in low dosage showed a therapeutic effect as an adjuvant to the L-Dopa in idiopathic Parkinsonism.
